1970 Shinko Bolt, Ltd. established with investment by Kobe Steel, Ltd. and Shinsho Corporation. Takes over Ichikawa Plant and High Strength Bolt business from High Strength Bolt Industries, Co., Ltd. (Kawasaki) and opens for business. Establishes Osaka Sales Office.
1972 Obtains the Ministry of Construction approval for the Torshear Type High Strength Bolt.
1973 Obtains approval as a JIS compliance manufacturer for the manufacture of High Strength Hexagon Bolt (JISB1186).
1982 Absorbs Ueshima Nut Co., Ltd. through merger (capitalized at 310 million yen).
1984 Obtains the Minister of Construction approval for Hot Dip Galvanized High Strength Bolt.
1994 Establishes Nagoya Sales Office.
1994 Establishes Fukuoka Sales Office.
1996 Completes new head office premises.
1998 Obtains approval for display of the JIS B1180 mark in the manufacture of Hexagonal Bolt.
2001 Investment ratio changes (to 100% investment by Kobe Steel, Ltd.).
2002 Obtains ISO9001 certification.
2005 Obtains the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism approval for Large Diameter High Strength Bolt.
2007 Obtains Eco Action 21 certification.
2013 Obtains EN14399-1 certification (European Union).
2014 Obtains the additional approval of Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism approval for Torshear Type High Strength Bolt, Hot Dip Galvanized High Strength Bolt and various other products.
2021 English corporate name changes (to Kobelco Bolt, Ltd).
